Dot-to-Dot Practice Pack

Four sheets for picking the right difficulty and building the skills underneath it.

Most dot-to-dot frustration is not about the picture — it is a number range or a counting step the child is not ready for. These sheets diagnose the level, warm up number formation and skip-counting, and give children a visible record of the puzzles they have finished.

How to print these

  1. 1. Download the sheets you need. Each PDF is a standalone printable — you do not need the whole pack.
  2. 2. Print at 100% scale. Choose 'Actual size' rather than 'Fit to page' so writing lines and boxes keep their spacing.
  3. 3. Black ink is enough. Every sheet is legible in greyscale, which saves colour cartridges for the artwork.
  4. 4. Pair it with the guide. The sheets follow the order of Dot to dot printables: every difficulty explained.

FAQ

Which sheet should I print first?
The difficulty chart. It tells you which level to start at, and the move-up/move-down signals on the same page tell you when to change it. Print the warm-up sheets only if the chart points at number formation or counting as the problem.
Are these suitable for older children and adults?
The difficulty chart covers levels up to 1000+ dots for adults. The tracing and skip-counting warm-ups are aimed at ages 3–7 and can be skipped entirely by confident counters.
Do I need a printer that does colour?
No. Every sheet is designed to read well in greyscale, and printing in black ink only saves colour cartridges. Print at 100% scale on A4 or US Letter.
Can I use these with dot-to-dots from a book?
Yes. The log, tracker and warm-ups are independent of where the puzzle comes from — use them with printed books, downloads or puzzles you make from your own photos.
